Bunnies!!!

If you want to be that distant relative who is dreaded on Christmas, try giving this book as a present! Bunnies was a letdown because the title suggests a warm, cozy story about cute little rabbits, but instead the book delivers a series of pages with absolutely no storyline whatsoever. It’s impossible to summarize the book because every single page says one single word: “bunnies.” Now don’t get me wrong, the author changes it up with an occasional exclamation point after the word and if you’re lucky, you get treated with a question mark. However after fifteen minutes of reading the word “bunnies”, you’ll start to wish you didn’t know how to read. Even my young siblings couldn’t take the repetitive mind torture. I realize perhaps the author meant teach children to recognize the word “bunnies.” Well, mission unaccomplished. If the book at least had fun pictures, maybe kids could have enjoyed the book. But no, Bunnies seemed never-ending and had dull, undetailed illustrations that were far from cute. I now have emotional trauma associated with the word “bunny”. I have never read a more pointless book and warn others of the dangers of Bunnies.
