For the Love of Cats

We rated this book:

This book begins with chapters on “How We See Cats” and “How Cats See Us.” It is chock full of pseudo-scientific facts about such things as “Killer Teeth” and “The Eyes of a Tiger” and antidotes any cat lover will pounce on (pun intended). After you make it through this section, cheeks aching from laughter, you arrive at a section titled “Cat Types: Every Cat is Really a Puma,” which outlines six personality types common to cats and is equally entertaining. And let’s not overlook the fact that page after page is filled with adorable cuddling cats, pouncing kittens, fluffy felines.

Even if you pick up this book with the idea that you will just look at the pictures, you’re going to get pulled into the accompanying descriptions. They are hilarious and true cat lovers will know exactly how accurate they are. This is the perfect gift for the crazy cat lady in your life (even if that’s you) and I’m proud to report that I own a “Rat Teaser” and a few “Gourmands” (more commonly referred to as “Fat Cats”).
