Books of Wonder is proud to present author ELIOT SCHREFER for the launch of his newest novel, The Lost Rainforest.
In the magical rainforest, Caldera, the animals are divided into those who walk by night (“nightwalkers”) and those who walk by day (“daywalkers”). Young Mez is a panther, and so a nightwalker. Fierce and loyal, she carefully watches over her younger sister — but her world is turned upside down when an eclipse suddenly appears in the sky, and Mez and all her fellow nightwalkers can cross into the world of the daywalkers. When more strange events keep happening, Mez realizes that this all could be the result of a reawakened evil seeking to destroy the rainforest. In the midst of all this turmoil, Mez awakens unique and powerful abilities. Together with a motley crew of beloved animal friends, Mez just might be able to save the rainforest.
For fans of the Warriors and the Wings of Fire series, The Lost Rainforest: Mez’s Magic is a heartpounding introduction to a deadly new world and the start of an exciting series. Join us on January 26th from 6-8pm at 18th W. 18th St. for the launch of The Lost Rainforest, when we will be joined by author ELIOT SCHREFER, who will give a talk and sign copies of all his books.
