An Elephant & Piggie Biggie!

Elephant and Piggie are back! It may not be an all new adventure of easy reading’s favorite duo, but this is a great collection of some of the epic situations Elephant and Piggie have been in over their ten-year career. This collection includes “Today I Will Fly!,” “Watch Me Throw the Ball!,” “Can I Play Too?,” “Let’s Go for a Drive!,” and “I Really Like Slop!”

The only new material is a brief letter from the creator, Mo Willems, at the end of the book. It is fun because he shares how Elephant and Piggie got their names. It also congratulates readers for reading five Elephant and Piggie stories in one book!

Any fan of Elephant and Piggie will enjoy this collection, unless they already own the stories in it. This is a good book for schools and libraries and for youngsters who are just coming to independent reading for the first time.
