Catch Us When We Fall: A Novel
Catch Us When We Fall is a thought-provoking and, at times, bittersweet story about two broken souls. Cass and Ben have been together forever, but that all comes to a screeching halt when Ben dies. Now Cass is left to pick up the broken pieces of her life. Ben’s brother, Scott, has been there for a long time, trying to help stop them from making their lives worse. Now that Ben is gone, things are just as bad as ever. That’s when Cass has an idea to get back on her feet: she’ll seek the help from Scott.
This was a beautiful and heartbreaking story. I felt so many emotions, and I can’t imagine being pregnant and alone. I was glad that Cass and Scott eventually learned how to lean onto each other. Sometimes, it’s the things you don’t see coming that matter the most. I’ve enjoyed this book very much and I look forward to reading more stories from Juliette Fay.
