City of the Dead: An Alex Delaware Novel
Jonathan Kellerman is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. In City of the Dead, he yet again weaves a story that will have readers on their toes wondering until the very end whodunnit. Psychologist and advisor to law enforcement, Alex Delaware finds himself analyzing a case that seems to have dead ends everywhere he looks. A woman named Cordi Gannett is found dead in her home. Outside her home, a naked man is hit by a van. L.T. Milo Sturgis and Alex work this case like any other but as the shady pasts of both of these characters emerge, they know that this is going to be a tough one. In fact, Cordi was involved in another case Alex dealt with several years back.
Readers who love an excellent, thorough police investigation with likable main characters will love this book. It has all of the elements of a great mystery: descriptive crime scenes, characters, and a twisted plot. City of the Dead is the perfect recommendation for fans of David Baldacci and Lee Child.
