Let the Pun Shine: Fun Puns to Brighten Your Day by Teo Zirinis (aka Handsoffmydinosaur) is the witty book of puns, guaranteed to do what the title promises. Many comical puns have been created by Zirinis, with much thanks to be given to him for gifting them to us. The puns are all family-friendly which was nice when reading some of them to my younger daughter. She even understood some of them which made the book a bonding time for us. Puns such as “The Last Straw”, “Dun Dun…Dun Dun!”, “I-Balls”, “VI-PEA”, “Photocopier”, “He’s a Sweater”, as well as all of the rest were so much fun to read, especially when you need something light to read that will do nothing but amuse you. Some of the puns are relevant to today’s issues, such as the “Phishing Boat”, the “Essential Oil”, and being a “Smash Hit”, making them easier to understand (although not saying any of it was difficult). Being a short book, Let the Pun Shine will bring a smile to your face while you have it in your possession, then maybe you should pass it on to a friend to put a smile on someone else’s face.
