Man, F*ck This House (and Other Disasters) is the provoking title of Asman’s new collection. The stories are amusing but not very frightening. The title of his book and the opening novella outshine the stories within. It’s not all bad. Asman’s character descriptions are very amusing and relatable. And the openings to his stories are fascinating, but the setup outshines the stories themselves. If the reader is concerned about nightmares from these tales, they need not worry.
