Marvel Meow

As the title implies, Marvel Meow is the love child of all things cats and Marvel superheroes. First off, the cover photo is adorable, and you can’t go wrong with a book about cats and superheroes (even if the cat isn’t a real one, although it looks real enough to fool me)!

Inside Marvel Meow are the adventures of Chewie, Captain Marvel’s pet, as it gets into trouble and does typical cat things with the other Marvel superheroes. On each page could be two to three or more superheroes shown; thankfully, there are several “character profiles” (extra pages that explain the heroes and their powers).

I am a big fan of Marvel Meow</e,>, mostly because of Chewie. I can see why this is already a hit on social media, because it appeals to a variety of audiences that will only come together for one purpose: a cat. The book is a quick read, especially as there aren’t many words in the comics to read, mostly action. I feel that if you want to get the most from the book, some rookie knowledge about the characters could come in handy, but if you’re reading for entertainment, take it away!
