The characters also demonstrate empathy, determination, and loyalty throughout every page.

Before the stories begin, the reader will feel like they are transported to this colorful land and connected to the lively bunch of animals who live here. The illustrations are carried throughout each chapter, helping the reader feel immersed in this joyful world. Hedgehog struggles with identity throughout the book-does she do what hedgehogs are supposed to do, or do what she wants?
