Pretty Reckless

We’re introduced to 14-year-old pampered princess Daria attempting to follow her mother’s footsteps as a ballerina and gain her approval through dance. When her arch nemesis is offered a coveted spot at the Royal Ballet Academy, Daria sabotages her acceptance and sets into motion a tsunami of unnecessary tragedies.

Four years later, Daria is the reigning mean girl at All Saints High. A bully to her core, Daria holds nothing back as she verbally eviscerates all in her path. An unexpected twist of fate places the football Captain of the rival school Todos Santos as a temporary roommate. As expected, the stereotypical teen angst and drama ensue as foes battle both on and off the field. The story culminates at the state championship where dalliances are exposed, underground betting rings are destroyed and secrets are shared.

The story is a cross between an elite teen drama and bully romance with all the classic scenes including: sneaking into bedrooms, ice cream parlors, ferris wheels, and locker room hookups. Characters come across as emotionally stunted which would have been intolerable without the ridiculous drama and outlandish plot lines to counterbalance.
