Santa.com
Santa has modernized his shop. He made a mistake long ago and he wants to make sure it doesn’t happen again. But what happens when Santa’s workshop gets hacked? Will the elves be able to figure out a way to save the day and restore the workshop before Christmas is canceled entirely? I love the idea of this book, but I feel like the text needed a little bit of cutting. It seems really long at some points. The illustrations are well done. I like the Christmas spirit throughout with the red and the green. I also feel like it put too much into the plot for a picture book. I also found it difficult to believe they had to go find Santa instead of him being there around Christmas. I love Yo-Yo and his bravery. Santa seems great. The hacker Cyber Scrooge was a great addition. My three and six-year-old liked the book okay but didn’t ask for it to be read again. My three-year-old liked the elves and my six-year-old liked the technology components.
