Seven Steps to Confident Writing
Seven Steps to Confident Writing by Alan Gelb is recommended as a must-have in everyoneâs personal library. Are you a perfect writer? The majority of us are not, but Gelb works his magic through his professional advice to help the reader to tell a story through their sentences, making sure that their writing is worthy of an audienceâs time and focus. The way that Gelb presents his information is very fluid and narrative in form, and he spends each chapter on an aspect of the art of writing. In a manner of speaking, Gelb will send the reader back to grade school to relearn the basics of a sentence; but donât worry, itâs not as boring as grade school. One such example of his advice is that your writing, much like your life, should be as authentic as possible to allow the reader to see âyouâ in the story.
With the hobby of writing book reviews, I found this book to be very informative and a needed refresher course for my writing. People from high school age to much older will find it beneficial for writing school papers through last words for their loved ones in a more clear and precise manner.
