Kersei and Darius are more at odds than ever. Frustrated and angry, Kersei plans something rash to solve their problems. Tigo is training men for the Faa’Cris. The frustration mounting will either be his demise or his way of teaching the all-powerful there might be a better way.

I love this series. The third book is good. I didn’t like it quite as much as the others because it felt like a setup book with a few things solved. The redemption of a certain character and then demise made me happy. I love the worlds that the author creates. Kersei, Isaura, and Tigo are all fantastic. I honestly wanted more Tigo; I miss him. I was glad to see Marco, but I felt he was not very active, which was necessary for the plot but I missed it. I recommend this book for those aged eighteen and up.
