The Robin’s Greeting: Amish Greenhouse Mystery #3 (Volume 3)
In the third and final installment of the Amish Greenhouse Mystery series, Brunstetter stays true to her beloved characters as their stories are expanded and answers are revealed to mysteries of the past. The Robin’s Greeting begins where The Mockingbird’s Song left off; both joyful and upsetting times are happening for the King family. Throughout the previous two books, senseless vandalism has been happening at the King’s home and business; finally, answers will be made known. Still dealing with the heartbreak of the loss of family members, the King’s are moving in the right direction to become emotionally happy again.
While being in a trilogy, The Robin’s Greeting is a book that can stand on its own. It is disheartening to know that this is the final story with the King family, but reassuring for the reader given the sweet ending. Reading the books in the Amish Greenhouse Mystery series, the theme is always centered around God and their Amish lifestyle. The series is appropriate for any age of reader; it is morally appropriate with a mystery that isn’t sexualized or violent.
