The Wife Before: A Spellbinding Psychological Thriller with a Shocking Twist

Samira has a tough time keeping a job. After she is cut off by her brother, she takes a job as a waitress at a party where she literally runs into legendary pro golfer Roland Graham. He dazzles her with his charm and good looks, and in a flash, they are married. Roland whisks Samira away to his mansion in Colorado, where she finds traces of The Wife Before.

Roland’s first wife, Melanie, died in a tragic accident a few years previously. When Samira finds her journals, she starts to piece things together and finds that there is a lot more to the story than her husband has told her. She’ll need to find out the truth before it’s too late.

This story is a high-octane, sex-filled version of Rebecca. The basic plot is the same, with a slight deviation in the characters and ending. Samira was a difficult character to relate to. Something that really bothered me was, while investigating what happened to Melanie, the murder of a couple was mentioned and then never acknowledged again. Those kind of plot holes bother me. If you feel like Rebecca needed an update, then this story is for you.
