Unrig: How to Fix Our Broken Democracy
Unrig is a fantastic graphic novel about how our government is heavily influenced and manipulated by the wealthy elites, and it discusses ways we can take back our government. This book takes a boring subject about politics and turns it into an informative and dare I say, fun graphic novel. While I enjoy reading non-fiction books, oftentimes, I find them to be dense and difficult to read. However, I LOVE this non-fiction graphic novel! This book cemented what I’ve always suspected and known about our rigged government. I wasn’t surprised by most of the information I read in the book, nonetheless, I still found the information very fascinating. The book is incredibly well-researched, and everyone should read this book. I am saving my copy for my children so they can read it when they are older. I cannot wait to read the rest of the books in this series when it comes out later in the year. Mad props to the author and illustrator for making a graphic novel about politics so engaging to read. I highly recommend this book to EVERYONE, even if you hate politics. This book is unlike any other political book.
