Every Missing Girl (A Kendall Beck Thriller)

FBI Special Agent Kendall Beck and Denver Homicide Detective Adam Taylor are teamed up once again to tackle a convenience store robbery gone wrong. Adam is there because two people died, while Kendall is there because one of them had a little girl with them. Not long after, Adam’s niece goes missing from her hockey game. As Kendall and Adam investigate both crimes, they discover the two might be connected. They have to race the clock to find Adam’s niece and possibly Every Missing Girl.

I really enjoy Sparks’ writing and this is no exception. While a great book, this was a hard read. Although technically fiction, this is reality for so many. It boggles the mind how people can do this to one another, especially children. If you enjoy police procedurals with a strong female lead as well as other strong characters, that isn’t a romance novel, this is for you. But be warned that the things going on in this story are horrible and not unrealistic. There are no happy endings here. I hope Sparks continues the story to see where Kendall and Adam go in the future. I highly recommend this series.
