First Born: A Novel

Molly Raven inhabits a restricted world, where she only leaves her home if it’s under her own terms. Her own terms include preparing for almost any eventuality, artificial or otherwise. Her world is shaken when she learns of the unfortunate passing of her sister, Katie. The loss is more acute as Katie was her identical twin. Despite their shared DNA, the girls were polar opposites. Molly leaves her home and flies to New York to comfort her parents. The circumstances of Katie’s death are suspicious and police are investigating leads. Molly begins an investigation of her own, probing a boyfriend, a lecherous professor, and others. As she delves further into her sister’s life, she questions everything she once thought she knew.

First Born is the latest novel from mystery/thriller author Will Dean, blazing a path of intriguing mayhem throughout three hundred plus pages.
