Five Strangers

Five Strangers by E.V. Adamson is a psychological thriller that will keep readers engaged from cover to cover. Jen Hunter’s life is falling apart. She’s lost her job and her boyfriend of five years and quite simply doesn’t know what she is going to do with herself. Journalism is all she knows how to do. Luckily, her friend Bex is there for her. Then one day, while waiting to meet Bex, Jen witnesses a brutal murder-suicide. There are four other witnesses, strangers, who are shocked at the sight of it all. Some try to help and some are frozen in their tracks.

Jen is a bit of an unreliable protagonist as she seems to go a bit nuts, especially on her ex-boyfriend. Because of this, it makes the book even more exciting as it can take a turn in any direction. As Jen uncovers the identity of each of the witnesses, she realizes they may all have more in common than she originally realized. This story is fast-paced and exciting all the way to the very end. A must-read for fans of suspense.
