The Forever Girl: A Novel (The Wildstone Series, 6)
Maze Porter hasn’t seen anyone in her family of outcasts and former foster kids for years. Maybe it’s her own fault, but she’s never been good at holding on to relationships. When her ex-best friend Caitlin invites her back to Wildstone for her wedding, Maze reluctantly obliges. Still, she’s happy to be back with Cat, Heather, and Walker for a while. However, Maze still finds herself attracted to Walker and wishes they were something more than friends. But there’s more going on in the house than appears. Walker is hiding a secret about him and Maze that could change their relationship forever, Cat is having doubts about her wedding she knows she shouldn’t be having, and Heather is caught in the middle of a forbidden romance. Can they rediscover the bonds they forged so long ago, or will they lose each other again? I thought this book was the perfect amount of drama. The hidden secrets come to light and relationships being tested was fun to read. While I was not in love with the romance, it was better than others I have read. I will look out for other books in the series!
