Diggersaurs
Diggersaurs combines two of many children’s favorite things, dinosaurs, and construction vehicles, in a colorful and creative book that will excite the imaginations of readers. Each spread introduces readers to a diggersaur, with a catchy rhyming description that explains what the diggersaur does and the onomatopoeia words that it says while doing its job. While the rhythm in the book is not perfect, inviting readers to say “chomp” or “crunch” always adds an exciting interactive element.
The illustrations are bright and bold, as one would hope for large and powerful diggersaurs. The illustrations show the diggersaurs in action and are incredibly dynamic. A little bit of learning also sneaks its way into the book, as the diggersaurs, one to twelve, are numbered, and readers are encouraged to count them all up by the end.
Diggersaurs is the perfect read for anyone who likes dinosaurs, construction vehicles, or just fun mash-ups, and it is sure to find a dedicated fanbase.
