Although the text is displayed in small boxes, which is inviting and manageable for younger readers, it doesn’t skimp on fascinating information. This is an equally enjoyable book to read out loud with your favorite insect lover or to let them read through on their own. The author has done an excellent job of providing ant facts that aren’t covered in every other ant book. There’s a dose of humor to both the illustrations and the text that made this book stand out.
