Make Yourself Cozy: A Guide for Practicing Self-Care
Make Yourself Cozy is filled with cute illustrations and tips for finding ways to bring more peace, joy, and comfort into your life. The suggestions range from simple tips, such as having lunch outdoors in a park, taking a walk with a friend, or just enjoying some downtime alone without feeling guilty. There are a few easy recipes for tasty treats, like fruit crisps and homemade jam, as well as a host of other fun suggestions for creating a cozy atmosphere.
The book provides space for making notes and jotting down your ideas to complement those included. I do wish there had been a few blank pages at the end of the book so the reader could add more cozy ideas. The suggestions inside will no doubt encourage you to come up with more useful tips of your own.
Nevertheless, this is a good book to give a friend or a good way to treat yourself to something that encourages you to find joy in the small things all around. The beautifully designed cover and fun illustrations alone make this one worthwhile.
